WealthOS (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you use WealthOS. This includes:

• Profile Data – name, date of birth, interests, occupation, and other details you choose to share.
• Financial Data – expenses, income, budgets, goals, assets, debts, and custom financial entries you manually enter.
• Device & Usage Data – device model, operating system, app version, and interaction logs to improve performance and user experience.
• Location Data – only if you grant permission, used to show local weather and currency rates. This data is not stored permanently.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve WealthOS features (budgeting, tracking, tools, growth zone).
• Personalise your experience – e.g., greeting you by name, showing relevant insights.
• Send notifications about reminders, EMI dues, bill alerts, and challenge completions (if you enable them).
• Analyse usage patterns to fix bugs, enhance performance, and plan new features.
• Generate anonymous aggregate statistics for internal research.

All your data is stored locally on your device using browser storage (localStorage). We do not maintain servers that store your personal or financial data. This means:

• You are in control – your data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
• You can export, import, or delete your data at any time via the app’s Settings.
• We implement reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorised access, but no system is 100% secure. Please keep your device and PIN lock secure.

WealthOS integrates with third‑party APIs to provide live features:

• Frankfurter API – for live currency exchange rates.
• Open‑Meteo API – for weather forecasts and geocoding.
• CoinGecko API – for cryptocurrency prices.
• Geocoding API – for city/timezone lookups.

These services may collect anonymised IP addresses and request metadata. We do not share your personal data with them. Please refer to each service’s privacy policy for more details.

Since all your data is stored locally, you have full control:

• Access & Correction – view and edit any personal or financial data directly in the app.
• Deletion – delete your data at any time via the app’s “Export/Import” and manual deletion features.
• Data Portability – export your data as a JSON backup file.
• Withdraw Consent – disable PIN lock, location permission, or notifications at any time in your device settings.

WealthOS is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided data, please contact us so we can assist in deleting it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
